Hello Gravediggers,
As noted in last month's update, we're still in the earliest portion of this part of the project, so these update posts are mostly just me touching base and ensuring that I'm communicating with your regularly on this project.
Also, I like to send out my cartoon picture!
Anyway, that's all preamble to saying that there's no major update this month. Everything is moving forward in the background and seems on track. Before I list up our rewards, let me just throw out one quick BackerKit reminder.

Hey there, Gravediggers,
As we come to the (almost) end of October, it's time to check in on our projects as the Onyx Path team continues in this next phase of production.
This is my Halloween costume.
As noted last month, it's important to send out these monthly updates - even when they're mostly boring "still working on it" posts - to ensure that communication on this project is constant and consistent. I want to ensure that everyone is in the loop and on the same page, and let you know about any challenges (or the rare lucky break) that may arise.
Quick summary: Everything is still slowing moving forward, nothing much to see here.

Our main rulebook is currently in the Post-Editing Development phase of production, while our Stretch Goal supplements have completed First Drafts (Monsters from the Crypt!, Tales of Depravity!) or Second Draft phase (Heroes in a World of Horror!).

Greetings Gravediggers!
Get ready! It's time to launch our month end updates!
Month end James is a lot like regular James, only more tired (if that's even possible).
As noted in our last update, this is the first of our regular month end updates, although there's been nothing "regular" about these past several months. Near the end of each month, I will be sending out an update, with status notes on our main project as well as the Stretch Goal project we added. As noted in previous updates, these projects take a long time to put together. You've seen the manuscript preview PDF, but there are still many moving pieces and puzzles to solve in turning this into an awesome book. These month-end updates ensure that communication is constant and consistent, and that we're all on the same page with regards to where we stand.
Two pieces of business before we get to our Status Report, though:
PLEDGE MANAGER REMINDER

REWARD DISTRIBUTION
Many of the rewards for our kickstarter projects take a lot of time and effort to complete. Usually, the kickstarter is a means of moving the project from an idea (even when it's a mostly-fully-written idea) into the actual channel that turns it into a project/product. It'll be a while before we're ready to talk about delivery on They Came from Beyond the Grave!, and even longer for Monsters from the Crypt!, Tales of Depravity!, or Heroes in a World of Horror!, our PDF supplements generated via Stretch Goal.
That said, there is one reward that's available now, as it is an add-on PDF of an existing product! Of course, I'm talking about They Came from Beneath the Sea! And now that I've got some pledge manager info and reward confirmations, I can work on getting that out to you!

BACKER SURVEYS
Over the next few days, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey invitation link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, and that won't happen until the books are printed and we're preparing to ship.

If there are any issues you find with the Pledge Manager, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know. It rolls out in waves so that I can correct issues on the fly and make it work as best possible as people come on board.
Please send me an e-mail (to the address above) if there were any tweaks or changes that need to be made to your BackerKit survey that we talked about during the campaign. I have aged about thirty years in 2020 so far and my memory is... not as good as I'd like.
Within the BackerKit Survey and Pledge Manager, you can:
Upgrade your Reward Tier pledge selection
Confirm Add On selections
Set up payment information for any failed payments from the Kickstarter campaign or to pay for any new Add On options selected
To upgrade your reward Pledge Tier:

From the BackerKit welcome page, in reverse order, you can select Switch Your Pledge Level (lower option) immediately. Or, you can select your Pledge Level (top option) to review your reward tier and change from that screen.

An option at the top of the Pledge Information screen will allow you to upgrade your Pledge Level.
Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in our Add On section (They Came from Beneath the Sea! PDFs). Expect to receive more info on those within the next few weeks or so.
As noted, I'll send another update in a week-and-a-bit, starting our regular month end status updates, so look for that before October! Until then...
