I'm coming to you a few days earlier than our normal Month End update would land because I've got REWARDS to go out!
That's right... we've got TWO rewards to move from our Pending to Delivered list with this update. Also, I've been in the process of modifying how our Pending Rewards list is displayed... so it's gonna be a whole big update of new stuff for you this month!
TRACKING INFORMATION
If you were set to receive a hardcover copy of They Came from Beyond the Grave! as a kickstarter reward and had confirmed your shipping information by Feb 15, your book has shipped. If you haven't received it yet, please check your tracking and confirm that it's still en route. Sometimes I'll hear from backers that had no idea the book was being held at a local post office or had delivered to their next door neighbor. The courier and delivery companies keep tracking information for about 6 months, so if you've got any issues, please let me know as soon as possible so we can sort them out. Hello Gravediggers,
By now, most of you who were waiting on hardcover books from our kickstarter campaign should have received your delivery. If you're still waiting, check back to our last update to see how to retrieve your tracking number from BackerKit.
That leaves us with four more rewards in the pending column, and we'll work through those fairly quickly over the upcoming months. I'll have our regular monthly check in near the end of the month, and we'll be updating the presentation to make everything even easier to take in at a quick glance.
But for now, I also wanted to share the latest developments in the overall They Came From... game line.

The line just got it's own website at theycamefrom.com! Featured on the site, for now, is the first game that launched the line, They Came from Beneath the Sea! Perfect timing too, because fans who supported the latest season of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 during their kickstarter campaign have been able to launch their new streaming platform, Gizmoplex, and Onyx Path is one of the sponsors!
I believe the full launch of Gizmoplex to non-backers is targeted for May, so we'll have to wait a bit to see the latest season. But it makes perfect sense to tie in a game about B-Movie monster madness with this show!

February 2022 Update - Tracking Information

Hello Gravediggers,
It's the final week of February, but I wanna talk about some early March stuff with you. Because over the first few weeks of March, we *plan* to be shipping out the kickstarter hardcover books to those who backed at the relevant pledge levels.
Last year saw a lot of massive shifts in Onyx Path's project plans, with their print plan delayed by up to 13 months on some projects. The good news is that the 2021 slate is finally printed and books have begun shipping, starting with Legendlore!
(As an aside, <THIS SUMMARY> from Extra Credits gives a great overview of the issues that everyone's been dealing with. It primarily focuses on board game publishers, but the situation spills out across all industries and also carries through to affect distribution and retail as well. As a bonus, the script was written by Onyx Path's own Eddy Webb!)
THEY CAME FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!
SHIPPING IN MARCH!
All orders for the hardcover book that were confirmed by Jan 25, paid for by Feb 8, and had delivery destinations confirmed by Feb 15 are now being prepped to be picked, packed, and shipped in March.
TRACKING INFORMATION
The first step in the pick/pack process is to print a packing slip... which generates a tracking number for US orders. So, there will be a tracking number assigned to your order a few weeks before it may even be in a box waiting for the carriers to pick it up. I expect orders to be sent out by the middle of March, say March 15th. Until this point, your tracking information may be listed as "Pre-Shipment".
Normally, US backers would start seeing deliveries a week or two after the orders have left the warehouse, but the strain on delivery infrastructure during this pandemic has a cascading effect that's just slowing all processes down. That's also affecting tracking updates - but, I'm told, information should catch up as packages move through the system. Many of us may actually receive our books before the tracking status gets updated, but the good news is that, eventually, everything should be delivered and confirmed.
Once the orders ship, you will get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Your tracking information may take 2-5 days to update at any given time, but it should refresh as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.
Your BackerKit Confirmation page will have:
The TRACKING NUMBER for your shipment (once it's been uploaded)
Your confirmed shipping address
A link to your digital redemption codes
A link back to the Community page
Again, you will receive an e-mail with this tracking information once orders have been shipped.

The third update of the month, but the first *month end* update of 2022!
This one has A LOT going on, so you may want to read through it a few times if you've got any questions. I'm also in the middle of tweaking the way I present information in these updates (though, just to a very small degree), so hopefully nothing gets buried under all of this.

This is the first version of Heroes in a World of Horror! to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Heroes in a World of Horror!Feedback Form!
Generally, they try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although it may be accessible a little bit longer due to the chaotic nature of the world we're in now. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.

Locking in Orders, Processing Outstanding Payments, Confirming Shipping Information

Hello Gravediggers,
Last year, all printing operations ended up paused due to pandemic- and infrastructure-related issues. Onyx Path had submitted files to their printer nearly a year ago, only to be told that everything would be delayed until early 2022.
The good news, now, is that we're *in* early 2022 ... and things are starting to print again!
Which means it's time to lock our traytables into their upright position, fasten seatbelts, and get ready to bring our main reward in for a landing.
That's Kickstarter Concierge speak for beginning the lockdown process. Since Onyx Path has SIX projects currently printing and preparing for delivery, there are going to be a few of these locking down at the same time. I don't know exactly when each will be shipping out, but want to get everything ready so we can act as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Quick note on schedules and timelines
I don't have to say too much here, do I? I'm moving forward with a lot of assumptions that things will work out as planned, but we've learned that unexpected complications are lurking around every corner. I'll keep in touch with Onyx Path as best possible and we can adjust these dates as/if needed. Still, I'm hopeful that our patience and perseverance will be rewarded and we'll have our books in hand at some point in the near future.
For now, just review your BakerKit order list and ensure that it's got everything you want. I'll send out the 48 Hour Notices as mentioned. Also, I'm here to help. If there are any issues, get in touch and I'll sort everything as best I can.
There's a lot going on - SIX PROJECTS - all happening around the same time, so there will be lots of moving parts and potential issues. I don't know exactly how long it'll take to ship things out or what will go first. But I'll work with our fulfillment partners to get everything out as quickly as manageable. The delivery side of this may be an ongoing project, but we'll get there! Don't worry - we'll have lots of opportunities to make sure we're set up for success as long as the external factors all cooperate.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://they-came-from-beyond-the-grave.backerkit.com
Let's use the Deviant: The Renegades page as an example of what your BackerKit page will show.
From this page, you'll be able to
Review the items in your Pledge Level by clicking the $ Reward under "Your Pledge Level"
Edit Your Order, including your items, shipping information, Add Ons, and payment info
Get Your Digital Rewards - go directly to your digital reward links
If you click your Pledge Level, it will bring up a listing of your items
Not only will you have a summary of your order, you'll also have an option to switch your pledge level if you want to upgrade from PDF to hardcover, for example.
If you click EDIT YOUR ORDER on your BackerKit page, it will give you the following options:

RETURN TO THE WELCOME PAGE, by clicking on Visit Community
EDIT YOUR SHIPPING INFO, if you have physical items to be shipped out this will be the address we'll send them to
GET YOUR DIGITAL REWARDS, which will take you to your digital redemption code page
and scrolling further down
You can
EDIT YOUR PLEDGE QUESTIONS - your survey must be complete for the final shipment to process
EDIT ADD ONS - will be locked down with your order quantity
EDIT YOUR PAYMENT INFO - must be set up before final payments are processed
It goes without saying, if you are only receiving digital items (PDFs), we won't need to confirm a shipping address. In fact, the survey shouldn't ask you for one.
Similarly, if you haven't purchased any Add Ons in BackerKit or pre-ordered any items, or need to correct payment information that didn't work in Kickstarter, you won't have any amount owing and won't need to include any payment information.
